Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with clinical protocols and standards
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient assessments and care progress in electronic health records
- Provide patient and family education on health management and disease prevention
- Adhere to infection control and safety regulations at all times
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Louisiana or ability to obtain immediately
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to flexible shift schedules (days, nights, weekends)
- Commitment to patient-centered care and ethical practice
- Willingness to complete hospital-specific orientation and training
