Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with medical orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes or emergencies to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other staff to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and interventions.
- Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards.
- Provide emotional support and health education to patients and their families.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New York.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- CPR and BLS certification required (ACLS preferred).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to be flexible with shift assignments.
