Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with evidence-based practices and established protocols
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions for diverse patient populations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while monitoring patient responses
- Document patient encounters accurately and maintain comprehensive electronic health records
- Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions and treatment plans
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the District of Columbia or compact state
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care or specialty nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; additional certifications a plus
- Strong assessment skills and clinical judgment in emergency/trauma settings
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
