Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute care settings with emphasis on critical assessment and intervention
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precise documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge protocols
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) with timely documentation
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and infection control standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
Qualifications
- Valid California RN license (BRN #)
- BSN degree required; MSN preferred
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Experience with Epic EHR system preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
