Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols
- Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations with precision and documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergent situations with critical thinking
- Maintain accurate electronic health records using Epic EMR system
- Educate patients and families on health management and preventive care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and safety compliance
Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Carolina (or compact state eligibility)
- BSN degree required; MSN preferred for advanced roles
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in medical-surgical units
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; TNCC or PALS preferred
- Strong assessment skills and clinical judgment abilities
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (Epic experience preferred)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
