Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to established protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records to ensure continuity of care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and share best practices with colleagues to enhance unit performance.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and post-discharge care instructions.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of Ohio Board of Nursing.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment skills and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
