Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with nursing standards and established protocols
- Assess patient conditions, develop care plans, and document clinical progress accurately
- Administer medications and treatments while monitoring patient responses
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
- Maintain sterile environments and ensure proper infection control procedures
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and emergency response protocols
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (BRN) in good standing
- BSN degree required (MSN preferred)
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Electronic Health Records (Epic) proficiency
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Valid California driver's license for on-site transport duties
