Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care assessment, planning, and intervention in accordance with established standards
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and documentation accuracy
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans
- Maintain patient records and electronic health documentation with HIPAA compliance
- Provide patient/family education on health conditions and treatment protocols
- Monitor vital signs and respond to emergency situations with rapid clinical judgment
- Mentor new staff and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Illinois RN license (required)
- BSN degree or equivalent experience (preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience (acute care preferred)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (maintained current)
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic experience highly valued)
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
