Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care with evidence-based practices and critical thinking skills
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and discharge planning
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain strict confidentiality standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Current California RN license (required)
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- ACLS/BLS certifications (must maintain current status)
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- Strong assessment skills and clinical judgment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Experience with electronic medical records (Epic preferred)
