Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in fast-paced cardiac unit environment
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams for optimal outcomes
- Educate patients and families on disease management protocols
- Adhere to infection control and safety standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (TX RN)
- BSN degree required (ADN with 2+ years experience considered)
- ACLS/BLS certifications required
- 2+ years clinical nursing experience preferred
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Electronic health record proficiency (EPIC experience a plus)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
