Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to medical protocols and hospital standards.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, escalating concerns immediately to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure holistic patient care.
- Document all patient interactions, assessments, and interventions accurately and timely in electronic health records.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of Georgia.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining compassion and professionalism.
