Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Monitor patients' conditions continuously and report any significant changes to the primary care provider.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and home care instructions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and outcomes.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida or Illinois.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting (New Grads encouraged to apply).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
