Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement comprehensive nursing care plans.
- Monitor patient health and progress, responding appropriately to any acute changes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, wellness, and self-care techniques.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.
- Document all patient care services, including symptoms, reactions, and progress.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee.
- BSN preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) considered with experience.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred based on unit.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
