Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care by assessing health status, administering medications, and implementing care plans.
- Monitor patient progress and respond promptly to changes in condition or medical emergencies.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation in compliance with state regulations.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive care strategies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental meetings to enhance patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of Tennessee.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to adapt to flexible scheduling and rotating shifts as required.
