Responsibilities
- Assessment & Care: Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans based on physician orders and patient needs.
- Medication Management: Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time, strictly adhering to safety protocols.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to medical emergencies and assist in stabilizing patients in critical situations.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
- Licensure: Current, unencumbered RN license to practice in the State of Arizona.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred (New graduates encouraged to apply).
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, time management, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Computer Proficiency: Ability to navigate Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems efficiently.
