Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, and develop comprehensive care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring safety and accuracy.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and conditions throughout their stay to detect any changes requiring immediate attention.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare team members to ensure holistic patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and treatment plans.
- Document all patient interactions, assessments, and interventions accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Ensure a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with patients and families.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare setting.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records and charting systems.
