Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care across diverse medical units including ICU, ER, and surgical services
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols with precise documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergency situations using ACLS protocols
- Maintain accurate electronic health records in compliance with HIPAA standards
- Mentor new nurses and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Tennessee (compact license accepted)
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience preferred
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Demonstrated ability to work in high-pressure environments
- Strong critical thinking and interpersonal communication skills
