Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care including assessment, medication administration, and treatment plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care delivery
- Document patient records accurately using EMR systems (EPIC experience preferred)
- Monitor patient conditions and respond rapidly to changes in status
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge plans
- Maintain strict adherence to JCAHO and OSHA standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in New York State
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- ACLS/BLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
- Experience with electronic health records
