Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing physical examinations and taking detailed medical histories.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patients' conditions continuously and promptly report any changes or adverse reactions.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Educate patients and their families about disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care.
- Document patient care services accurately and in a timely manner using electronic health records.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Minnesota.
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
