Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient assessment and critical care interventions in ICU setting
- Administer medications and treatments with precise dosage calculations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans
- Monitor and interpret complex patient data using advanced monitoring systems
- Provide education to patients and families on post-discharge care protocols
- Maintain accurate electronic health records with meticulous documentation
- Participate in rapid response codes and emergency resuscitation procedures
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Texas
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum 2 years critical care experience required
- ACLS and BLS certifications (required)
- CCRN certification preferred
- Proficiency in Epic EMR system
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations
