Responsibilities
- Provide advanced nursing care to critically ill patients in ICU setting
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs with precision
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams for patient outcomes
- Document patient assessments and treatment plans accurately
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care protocols
- Maintain sterile procedures and infection control standards
- Participate in rapid response and code blue emergencies
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Louisiana
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 2+ years ICU experience considered)
- ACLS/BLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year critical care experience
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience with Epic EMR system preferred
