Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in ICU setting including ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team for patient care planning
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in EMR system
- Respond to emergency situations with rapid assessment and intervention
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care plans
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Tennessee (or compact license)
- BSN degree required (ADN candidates with 5+ years ICU experience considered)
- ACLS/BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience preferred
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience with Epic EMR system preferred
