Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in ICU settings, monitoring vital signs and adjusting treatment plans
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and specialized interventions with precision
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records
- Provide education and support to patients and families during critical care situations
- Maintain strict infection control protocols and safety standards
- Participate in rapid response codes and emergency resuscitation procedures
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (or compact license with Texas endorsement)
- BSN degree required; MSN preferred
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience in acute care setting
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in Epic EMR systems
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
