Responsibilities
- Delicate advanced cardiac monitoring and intervention for post-op cardiac surgery patients
- Administer complex medications including vasopressors and antiarrhythmics
- Perform rapid response assessments and emergency interventions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams using Epic EMR documentation
- Mentor new nurses and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO and CMS regulations
Qualifications
- CA RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience with cardiac specialization
- BSN degree required (MSN preferred)
- Proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management
- Demonstrated critical thinking in emergency situations
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Experience with Epic EMR documentation system
