Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in ICU setting including ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Implement and evaluate patient care plans with multidisciplinary team
- Document patient assessments and interventions in EHR system
- Provide patient/family education on health conditions and discharge planning
- Respond to emergency situations with rapid assessment and intervention
- Maintain sterile techniques and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (or compact license)
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 2+ years ICU experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year ICU experience preferred
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Proficiency in Epic EHR system
