Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced critical care monitoring for post-operative and cardiac patients
- Administer complex medications and IV therapies
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on treatment plans
- Document patient assessments using Epic EMR system
- Mentor new nurses through our residency program
- Respond to rapid response and code blue situations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Texas RN license (required)
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- BSN degree (ADN with 2+ years ICU experience considered)
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience preferred
- Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills
- Experience with ventilator management
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
