Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced nursing care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced ICU environment
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders
- Monitor and interpret patient telemetry data, responding to changes in condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document clinical observations and care activities accurately in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols
- Participate in rapid response codes and emergency resuscitation efforts
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Nevada
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 3+ years ICU experience considered)
- Minimum 2 years recent ICU/Critical Care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Proficiency with Epic EHR systems
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in high-stress situations
