Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in ICU/ER settings with precise clinical judgment
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions per protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in EMR systems
- Maintain infection control standards and safety protocols
- Provide patient/family education on health conditions and discharge planning
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Kansas RN license (or compact license)
- BSN degree required (ADN candidates with 2+ years ICU/ER experience considered)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Minimum 1-2 years acute care experience preferred
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
- EMR proficiency (Epic preferred)
