Responsibilities
- Assess patients' medical history and symptoms to determine appropriate nursing interventions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring safety and accuracy.
- Monitor vital signs and patient status, responding immediately to any changes in condition.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and self-care strategies.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and care activities.
- Ensure a safe and clean patient environment in accordance with hospital safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oklahoma.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Certification in Critical Care (CCRN) or related specialty highly desired.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced hospital setting.
