Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and empathetic Registered Nurse to provide exceptional patient care. You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, administering treatments, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established medical protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes in condition to the healthcare team immediately.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care activities.
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health management.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient recovery.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (ASN, BSN, or MSN preferred).
- Current, unencumbered RN license to practice in the District of Columbia.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
