Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status through observation, interview, and examination.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and record vital signs and symptoms to detect changes in patient condition.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care and optimal recovery.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, and preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills for rapid decision-making.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
- Demonstrated compassion, empathy, and a patient-centered approach to care.
