Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing physical examinations and reviewing medical histories.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patients.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient progress and response to treatment, documenting all clinical findings accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care.
- Respond to emergencies and critical care situations with composure and speed.
Qualifications
- Current and unencumbered RN license to practice in the State of Georgia.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
