Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute care settings with compassion and clinical excellence
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precision
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge protocols
- Adhere to infection control protocols and regulatory compliance standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Texas (compact license accepted)
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with experience considered)
- Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience (critical care/ER preferred)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS/NRP a plus)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Electronic health record proficiency (Epic/EMR experience)
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
