Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient assessment, monitoring, and intervention in a fast-paced medical-surgical environment
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while maintaining accurate documentation
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and care coordinators to develop individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and discharge planning
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations, infection control protocols, and hospital policies
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and emergency response protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Washington State (or compact license)
- BSN degree or equivalent experience with commitment to pursue within 2 years
- Minimum 2 years of acute care medical-surgical nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (TNCC preferred)
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to multitask in high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication skills and cultural competency for diverse patient populations
- Electronic health record proficiency (Epic EMR preferred)
