Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care across diverse medical units including ICU, ER, and Pediatrics
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and patient safety as top priority
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient assessments and progress using electronic health records systems
- Provide emotional support to patients and families during challenging healthcare journeys
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and hospital safety protocols
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Kansas or compact state eligibility
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with experience considered)
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience required
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- EMR proficiency (Epic systems preferred)
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including nights and weekends
