Responsibilities
- Direct Patient Care: Assess patient needs, administer medications, and provide compassionate care in accordance with established nursing protocols.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR) reflecting patient status and interventions.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and wellness strategies.
- Emergency Response: Respond swiftly to code blue alarms and critical care situations.
- Vital Monitoring: Continuously monitor vital signs and alert the medical team to any changes in patient condition.
Qualifications
- License: Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the State of Ohio.
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Experience: Minimum of one year of clinical nursing experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical rotations are encouraged to apply.
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with electronic medical record systems and medical equipment.
