Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality direct patient care, monitoring patient conditions and administering medications as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient assessments, treatments, and responses to interventions accurately and timely.
- Assist in triage and emergency response situations to ensure patient safety.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized nursing unit environment.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license to practice in the State of Illinois.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
- Commitment to the highest standards of patient safety and privacy (HIPAA compliance).
