We are looking for a dedicated RN to provide exceptional care to our diverse patient population in Oakland.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in accordance with nursing standards.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures accurately and safely.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, intervening immediately in emergency situations.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Document all patient interactions, care provided, and outcomes in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, discharge instructions, and health promotion.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and healing environment for all patients and visitors.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining attention to detail.
