Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems, needs, and physical and emotional conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare provider immediately.
- Provide patient education and support to families and caregivers.
- Document all patient care activities, assessments, and interventions accurately in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Virginia.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred (New graduates welcome).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
