Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and document all clinical findings accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide patient education and support to families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.
- Respond immediately to medical emergencies and assist in code situations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred (New grads welcome with appropriate sponsorship).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Computer literacy and proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR).
