Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and patient safety focus
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate seamless patient transitions
- Document clinical observations accurately and maintain electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on health management and preventive care
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with critical thinking skills
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and hospital protocols
Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license (or compact license with willingness to obtain FL license)
- BSN preferred; ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience in relevant specialty
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Proficiency in electronic medical documentation systems
