Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor health status regularly.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Educate patients and families on disease management, post-discharge care, and health promotion.
- Respond immediately to code blue alerts and emergency situations with high urgency.
- Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, safety regulations, and JCAHO standards.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of Florida.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical nursing experience (preferred for specialty roles).
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
