Responsibilities
- Provide direct, high-quality patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs in accordance with medical protocols.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring strict adherence to safety and documentation standards.
- Monitor patient vital signs and medical conditions, promptly reporting any changes or abnormalities to the nursing supervisor or physician.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and adjust individualized care plans for optimal patient recovery.
- Educate patients and families on disease management, medication usage, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Respond to medical emergencies with speed and precision, utilizing critical thinking and life-saving protocols.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting (new graduates with BSN considered).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
