Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient health status, documenting changes and symptoms accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide patient education and discharge planning to support continued recovery.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current, active RN license issued by the Nevada State Board of Nursing.
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
- CPR and ACLS certifications as required by department policy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare setting.
