What You Will Do:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, responding promptly to any changes in condition.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and the wider healthcare team.
- Document all clinical findings and interventions accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
Qualifications:
- Current, active RN license in the State of California.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification through the American Heart Association mandatory.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and PALS certifications preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital setting.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing physical examinations and taking medical histories.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, wellness, and self-care techniques.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document all patient care activities accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- BSN preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted with relevant experience.
- CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
- ACLS and PALS certifications preferred depending on unit assignment.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
