Responsibilities
- Assess patient health history and physical condition to identify and prioritize patient care needs.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established medical protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition, escalating care as necessary.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Document patient care services accurately and timely using electronic health records (EHR).
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatments, and self-care instructions.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Oregon.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Commitment to adhering to safety and quality standards.
