Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care by performing comprehensive health assessments and developing individualized care plans.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies accurately and in strict accordance with physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond immediately to changes in condition or emergencies.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and clinical notes.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and medication management.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Tennessee Board of Nursing.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- CPR (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred; New Gruates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
