Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to established protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, symptoms, and care provided.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide critical care when necessary.
- Educate patients and their families on post-discharge care and health management.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Minnesota.
- CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association) required; ACLS preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a diverse team.
- Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift patients as needed.
