Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute care settings under clinical supervision
- Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders
- Monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and progress
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge procedures
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and hospital safety protocols
- Participate in 12-week new graduate residency program with dedicated preceptors
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Valid Florida RN license (or eligible to obtain immediately)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Passing score on NCLEX exam or recent graduate status
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
