Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with nursing standards and protocols
- Administer medications and treatments accurately under supervision
- Monitor patient vital signs and document clinical observations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop treatment plans
- Provide patient education on health conditions and discharge planning
- Adhere to infection control and safety procedures
- Participate in continuing education and skill development workshops
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ASN/BSN) degree
- Active RN license in Louisiana or eligibility to obtain
- NCLEX-RN exam scheduled or passed within 3 months
- CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
